Festival Season is approaching! It is time to stock up on kimonos, fringe, and flash tats!
I am so excited about this upcoming Festival Season! Spring brings the amazing collaboration of music and food!
One staple garment in my closet for the SS 16 Season are criss cross shirts, blouses, crop tops, bodysuits, swimsuits, CRISS CROSS EVERYTHING! This trend is perfect for the boho chic and festival look! You can find this look at every boutique! This red criss cross crop top is from a local San Diego Boutique: Closet Signature. I live down the street from this boutique so it is becoming my go to shop! They have the cutest garments for every occasion.
I paired my criss cross crop top with "Mama Jeans" that I cut into shorts. I also did a little DIY project with my vest that Jade Marlow Styled me in for our previous collab. I added patches and puff paint fun to the back! My belt is from ( you won't believe it) the 99 Cents Store. This will be my second go to for the festival season. I saw fringe belts, bandanas, and also purchased a huge box of flash tats for .99! lol
My glass dome Frida Kahlo stud earrings are from an esty shop One of Rosa's Petals:
I love these earrings! They are so unique and I love Frida! She should be a festival staple with her love of music and art! And she is the queen of flower crowns and braids! Check out One of Rose Petals and add Frida to your Festival gear.
I love Spring! Time to pull out the shorts, bask in the sun, and stop and smell the flowers! I decided to venture out to the Flower Fields in Carlsbad, CA with my gal Kellie. We ran in the flower fields like free spirits! Well didn't run lol.
I was so happy to see fields and fields or flowers! Perfect way to enjoy a spring day.

Do Ho Suh x A$AP Guess Collection.
Seoul Artist Do Ho Suh has brought a colorful, eclectic, DOPE feel to the Museum of Contemporary Arts Downtown San Diego. This exhibition displays a New York City Apartment using translucent fabric and stainless steel armature. Talk about creativity to the max!
I finally wore my Guess x A$AP Rocky Crop Top! The NY Studio vibes matched perfectly with this piece. I paired it with a Black Nordstrom Blazer,90's Boy FriendJeans hand picked by Jade Marlow, Silver Platforms and a Tokyo Tote from Forever 21. I am more than sure Rocky would appreciate the mixture of High Fashion with Streetwear.
If you have a chance to check out any of Do Ho Suh's work, DO IT!!!!
Vic Styles hosted an amazing Boss Babe Brunch this past Sunday! Her vision of uniting Women who have their sh*t together or as for me lol attempting to have my sh*t together (I am a work in progress but still proud of myself!) anyways where was I?!? So Vic's vision of having Bosses breaking bread together was beautifully curated at the Meat District Company in Pasadena, CA.
What's better than sipping on mimosas and sharing your dreams and vision with women who are just as motivated as you? Women inspiring each other is becoming a trend that I would love to see everyone hop on this bandwagon! Each and everyone there was uniquely talented from dancers, singers, bloggers, and photographers! Real Boss Bishes! This was a great networking opportunity! We also walked away with a bag of goodies of beauty products (I am obsessed with the JadenMoon Body Butter) and a copy of Crown Mag.
Thank you Vic for hosting this Brunch!
Sidenote as I am typing this I am craving Meat District's truffle fries.
Keep up with Boss Babe Brunch:

When my BFF texted me "Let's go to Melrose Trading Post" I was stoked! The mecca of all thrifting! We began the adventure with taking our "basic" blogger photos with the Colette Miller Wings! Click the link to see what the Colette Miller Wings Project is about! Pretty Dope!
The Melrose Trading Post was $3 to get in and it literally was stepping into heaven for me! I love finding unique vintage Tees and other garments. I laid my eyes on my most worthy Coachella pieces! Fringe Friendly everything. One of my favorite booths was the Coast to Coast Vintage Mobile Van, full of fun printed vintage garments! Melrose Trading Post has amazing, one of a kind furniture and home decor pieces. Def worth the trip! Can't wait to go again!

But enough about me and let's move along to this boho chic #OOTD!
A few weeks back, Kaycee G. styled me and sent me this outfit from her boutique Southern Lush for the Jhene Aiko concert in San Diego. The concert was amazing! Jhene is the cutest and queen to kimonos!

I was all over the grid garments from Target.com. Target's plaid, plaid world took over their AW Collection. For this week's #MPM, I paired a plaid, blue blazer with a simple white v-neck, along with their black and white grid pants. Pairing different color plaids together brings an unique yet polished look.
Have fun with your garment! & Enjoy this #MPM
These girls painted Little Italy San Diego red in their street chic looks. Kellie effortlessly rocked a desert boho look with her red suede blouse and her Adele free people booties while Luhhsetty was all mod in her furry white winter coat. They slayed from head to toe!
The anticipation of their collaboration was real!

A message to all my sisters, motivated women chasing their dreams, titled: Roses are Pink!
Roses are Pink,
Delicate, blossoming daily
But will you let it really sink.
You are strong with your thorns
And beautiful and remain pure minded as the day you were born.
Don't let them shred you, don't let them take your petals
And don't you ever settle for less!
Roses are pink!
You will never have to rethink,
The value you have
Trust in yourself and yahveh
Be guided,be whole hearted
Make a plan and think!
Roses are pink!
Kellie & I did another collaboration! This time the BFF came through to help shoot and scout locations. The color pop walls and amazing San Diego Views went perfectly well with Kellie's outfit. I had the pleasure of collaborating with #VegasBlogger Amanda Pamblanco. I've been to Vegas plenty of times and usually stay on the Strip but Amanda exposed me to a Vegas hidden treasure, Downtown Las Vegas! Last time I was in DT Vegas, my bridesmaids & I spendt HOURS in Binions Casino on Fremont street. This time I was ready to explore the Art Scene!
Amanda & I met up at Container Park which is incredibly dope! Each store is made of recycled materials. Amanda suggested Simply Pure for lunch which was amazing. Amanda ordered the Nachos & I tried vegan lasagna for the first time. After tasting how great the food was, I would not mind becoming Vegan!
After we ate and walked around Container Park, it was off to shoot #OOTD pics! You all know I am a sucker for street art! It reminded me of the Alberta Art District in Portland, OR. The walls were splashed with bright colors & I must say so myself our neutral #ootd looked great against the colorful walls! From a painted school bus to love messages on the wall, this way the perfect place for a blog photo shoot!
Hope you enjoy the photos! & if you visit Vegas make sure you swing by DT! & Check out Amanda's blog: girlfromvegas.com

Hoping everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! With Black Friday and Cyber Monday everyone is stocking up on gifts!
With Holiday parties and events coming up finding the perfect outfit can take time and be little costly. I stumbled across Thred Up on a Facebook friend's post. My sister told me to check it out last year and I finally made a purchase. I selected a Halogen chambray beaded blouse and printed Forever 21 pants. This outfit cost me $0 just $5.99 shipping! Now I want to share the gift.
Here is $20 to use on this online consignment store:
Also, you can sell clothing to thredup! Check it out! #Shopforacause
My best friend, my husband's brother from another mother and his colleagues decided to plan a day full of adventure! We began our morning with redbulls as we were heading two & a half hours east of San Diego.
I have always seen photos of Salvation Mountain and have been dying to go. My husband's brother from another mother brought up going so me & my best friend crashed their road trip! My husband gave me my Christmas gift (Sony A7) early & I was dying to use it!
Salvation Mountain was a dream. The creativity put into this piece of Art was beyond inspiring. "God is Love" and "Love is Universal" WOW, what powerful words! I thanked God for this opportunity to see this masterpiece and his message could not be more direct. If LOVE is the message it pushed me to put 100% and do what I LOVE! Curating look books for brands and garments and fashion photography is my calling. There is no stopping, the sky is the limit!
Halloween is one of my favorite Holidays. Who doesn't love getting free candy for dressing up? And staying up late watching all the scary movies & let's not forget HOCUS POCUS!
This year I went to my first Pumpkin Patch in North County San Diego. First off the view was incredible, I fed some animals, went through a corn maze (which took me forever & a day), and painted a cute little pumpkin I brought home.
Meanwhile SoCal is still in Summer, I could not wear heavy fall clothing, especially not in North County! I did want to get into the Halloween Spirit. I rocked my Bat Zoe Karssen Tee. It is so light weight and perfect for our "Fall". If you have not decided what to be for Halloween, check out Zoe Karssen's October Edit: http://www.zoekarssen.com/halloween_edit/
Hope Everyone has a great & SAFE Halloween!
